2 year old and potty training?

I have been trying to potty train my 2 year old since aug. He refuses to use the toilet. I dont know what to do anymore. Ive tried everything that I did with my oldest son to potty train him but nothing works. Can someone please give me some suggestions to help me potty train my son? Im at my wits end here.

I tried and tried with my now 4 year old daughter. Just like you I had NO luck. The best advice I got was, that she will train when SHE is ready not when I was. I would try it every now and again and if she wouldn't do it, I let it go for a month or two. Then one day, low and behold she did it by herself.

Just be patient and dont try to force it on him. I truely beleive that potty training will only work if the child is ready.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear. Good luck

Not all kids progress at the same rate, you need to lay off trying for a few months and then try again.
