vegetarians - poll please?

i have keratosis pilaris, inherited bumpy skin. i have heard it may be exacerbated by eating chicken. if you had k.p. and were helped by going vegetarian, or are vegetarian and have k.p. anyway, i would love to hear from you.

i have KP and i used to be a big meat eater,

....But !!! .. i wanted to slim down to model weight, improve my appearance and live a greener, more healthy lifestyle. im vegetarian now, and since ive been vegetarian for the past 8 month, my skin has become more softer and especially less rough on the back of my arms where before, it always felt like i had goose bumps.

i totally suggest you go Vegetarian... also, scrub your body with OATMEAL SCRUB that you can find in grocery stores or drug stores, and etc.

    good luck (:

According to this website, diet makes no difference in the this disorder.

Some people probably think chicken causes it because chickens have bumpy skin. It's like the old superstition about touching toads giving you warts. Sounds like magical thinking to me.

Okay first thing first: Ignore cliff. He always wants to keep the world the way it is. Second this is to countrified one answer I saw. Animals will never overpopulate. If they can maintain natural life style before us then we should be able to leave them alone and live a cruelty free life style

    Keyword: INHERITED.

Eating a balanced diet that includes fresh fruit, vegetables, grains, dairy, white meat, red meat, and seafood is the best thing you can do for your body.
