imovie and Final Cut Express?

Are they free programs, or do you need to buy them? I don't want to download them if it's illegal, haha. Can you use both the programs on a PC...or are they for Mac?

They are mac only programs and will not work on a PC.
iMovie comes free with every mac, Final Cut you have to buy.
