Nope. What if the other personality is not a ventriloquist and the other personality is...and, in the middle of a ventriloquist show, the personalities switch!!??

I don't like to call it "split" personality. I think if anything it's "add" personality. Each "self" has a full personality of it's own. Being a ventriloquist most likely won't have an effect, unless it's a hobby of one of the selfs. Psychological therapy and clinical hypnotherapy are very effective, though.
