Since "I" is a "thought" what are we when all thought ceases?

When thought ceases to operate, what operates are the other senses. In that stateless state, there is no "I": attention has left the observer (brain), so attention becomes the observed. Next question: in this state where "thought ceases", what is the observed? This is a question that thought cannot answer, as the action of observing is not being recorded by thought (there is no camera taking snapshots). So there is nothing to understand, only something to do. You cannot know, there is only doing.

Beautiful question... REALLY...
We are one with the ALMIGHTY when we are without thoughts but not for seconds or minutes we should be able to sustain this for hours... then only...
It is said in India that we have to annihilate thoughts to achieve oneness with the ALMIGHTY..
