Im planning a trip to MX, was thinking Yucatan/DF/Acapulco, how long?

I wanna go to Mex City, Acapulco , and the Yucatan. I was thinking one week each, is this too long?? How much time would I need to c everything in the Yucatan(cenotes/ruins)?? Will I have enough fun in Mexico City to jusify staying a whole week??

Mexico City is the New York City of Mexico, you could spend a month there if you wish. a week in each place should be fine. you will get a very good feel in this amount of time and have a lot of good experiences. remember when you are in the larger Cities, use common sense safety precautions just like you would in New York or Chicago. All big city's have crime. enjoy your trip, stay safe and have fun.

  • Yes there is plenty to do in and around mexico city to spend a week there. As far as seeing all the ruins in the yucatan, that simply is impossible to do in a week. There literally hundreds of ruins throughout the yucatan. Search online mayan ruins in the yucatan and you will find most of the bigger sites and maps where all the sites are located. www.locogringo.com has a bunch of great sites and maps about ruins in the yucatan
