6 Month Immunizations, how late is okay?
Firstly I was at my mums place for a while and didn't get back until right when bub was due for her needles. I knew it was okay to be like a week late so I was intending to take my time in calling up the docs to make her appointment because we had a lot of unpacking and house cleaning to do.
However now she has a cold and has had for about the last week (her first one!), making her 2 weeks over-due. I plan on ringing the docs tomorrow but she still has the cold and I am pretty sure they can't have them with a cold?
So my actual question is how late can they be for those needles when they have had the 2 m/o and 4m/o ones.

My daughter has been as much as 1 month late. It doesn't matter when they get them, as long as they get them. Of course the time table they have set up is the ideal, the vaccine will still do its job if your daughter is a little late. I do know that they will wait to give other vaccines for a month. So if she is due for others you will have to wait a month for those as well.

There's a minimum time that has to elapse between sets, so if she's late for these then the next lot might be slightly delayed too. But it's not a big deal... my son was ill right around his first birthday and didn't get his 12 month shots until 13 months and his 13 month shots at 14 months.

It doesn't really matter. Unless it's a two phase flu vaccine that you have to receive at a specific time, it's never too late to give baby vaccines. My daughter is 9 months old and she's on a modified schedule. She still hasn't gotten all of her 4 and 6 month shots.

my sisters little one is like your child she had to keep putting it off because of illness she got her 4 months ones at 6 months so that was 2 months. i dont think it really matters aslong as you give them the vaccination. for example my sister baby had her 4 months one at 6 months so if she is due to have the 6 months one then you have to wait 4 weeks after that to get the 6 months ones. some parents dont want their children vaccianted but then decided about a year later they do and they jus give them the vaccination, aslong as they leave 4 weeks apart each injection.

with my son the 6 month shot have been the worst.. he become thoroughly healthful till he have been given them and then he fevered for 2 day rapidly.. tylenol did not help in any respect, fortuitously at 6 months i ought to grant him the child motrin.. one hundred.7(in accordance with how the temp become taken) isn't that top of a temp.. basically provide him some infant tylenol watch his temp and a heat compress on his legs the place they gave the photos.. if that would not help then try the child motrin, this is lots extra effective for fevers.good success

It doesn't matter - get them done when she's well.
The only thing to watch out for then is that she doesn't get the next set too close (if there is a next set?) There's a minimum spacing between then.
