  • Sims 3 Late Night Expansion?

I just bought this today from Tandy only the Lady who put everything in to the box for me forgot to put in the Manual with the Serial Key. I intend to go back tomorrow to have them rectify this problem but is there anywhere else I can look in the meanwhile to find the Key like a file on the CD or something like that?

  • Anyone have the baby bjorn baby carrier?

I was given one of these by my house mates brother when my daughter was born because they are done having kids. This means I was never given the original packaging for the baby carrier. I am looking to see if anyone knows what age/weight these are good until? My daughter is now 10 months and 8.4kg's.

    Thanks!

  • Is this okay for a 10 month old? Would you do the same?

My 10 month old is currently teething and having a little trouble with eating solid foods, especially her vege's. Last night instead of her getting upset by me trying to give her vege's I just gave her a bottle instead.

Normally she has dinner ( vege's then yogurt or fruit and custard ) has a bit of a play and then goes to bed, she was really tired last night (she didn't sleep well for her day time naps ) so I just gave her a bottle and put her to bed. Is it okay for a 10 month old to skip a solid feed now and then and have a bottle in it's place?

  • What things do you do to keep your 9 - 12 m/o's occupied ( 10 points for most unique answer!)?

At the moment our favorite thing is putting clothes pets on a clothes hanger and giving that to our 10 month old daughter to play with - she sits there for ages pulling each of the pegs off.

  • 10 month old super squealer?

Has anyone had experience with this and have any tips on how to discourage this behaviour? She squeals ALL the time and I do mean all the time. She squeals if she is happy, she squeals if she is throwing an tantrum. At home, at the shops, out to dinner it doesn't matter where we are either and sometimes it is very embarrassing!

  • At what age does a 'baby' become a 'toddler'?

Just curious when a baby isn't really considered a baby any more. Also what age do you generally stop taking your baby to the baby clinics for regular weight checks?

  • What differences are there between Sims 2 and 3?

Is it worth getting sims 3 for sims fans? I have Sims 1 and all the expansions as well as Sims 2 with some of the expansions - there was a big difference between those two games, Sims 2 was a lot more advanced. So what kind of differences are there between 2 and 3?

  • Does it matter if they got the name of the hospital wrong on babies birth cert (in australia)?

On my babies birth certificate its listed as her being born in a private hospital in the same town when she was actually born in the public hospital in that town. Should I do something about getting them to fix it and issuing another birth certificate or is it unlikely to really cause any problems down the track?

  • How old is a baby when they stop needing two naps a day?

My baby is 9 months and she very obviously still needs her 2 naps a day, sometimes even three. I am just curious around about what age are they when they only have one nap in the middle of the day?

  • What age does a baby really need to start being socialised with other kids?

None of my friends actually have kids themselves and my family is a distance away so I only get to see them really once every couple of months, so she doesn't get to see other kids much - I intend to put my little girl in to day care once or twice a week but not yet. She is 7 months old right now, I was thinking about 1.5 to 2 years old for putting her in to day care. Is that a good age or can I leave it later or should I do it earlier?

  • Almost 7 month old screams when I turn on the vacuum!?

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how long it might last and how to get past it? We got through it today by me wearing her but I can say she isn't getting any lighter! Not to mention the wether here is still rather warm so we were both hot and sweaty by the time we were done.

  • Could this be Golfers "Elbow?"?

Okay so I don't actually play golf and never have but....

At the moment whenever I hold my arm out a bit and turn my wrist I have pain in the back of my lower arm/forearm. Could this possibly be some form of golfers elbow?

It's been going on for about 3/4 days now and I know I haven't done anything to actually injure my lower arm in any way the pain just started out of no where. Its in my right arm and its kind of annoying because it hurts any time i turn my arm around to test my babies bottle on my wrist - shake her bottle when i put the formula in etc, things I do many times a day.

  • 6 Month Immunizations, how late is okay?

Firstly I was at my mums place for a while and didn't get back until right when bub was due for her needles. I knew it was okay to be like a week late so I was intending to take my time in calling up the docs to make her appointment because we had a lot of unpacking and house cleaning to do.

However now she has a cold and has had for about the last week (her first one!), making her 2 weeks over-due. I plan on ringing the docs tomorrow but she still has the cold and I am pretty sure they can't have them with a cold?

So my actual question is how late can they be for those needles when they have had the 2 m/o and 4m/o ones.

  • Stacking baby's feeds, how does it work?

I just gave my baby a dream feed now at 8:30pm if I give her another one about 10:30/11pm before I go to bed would that be too soon, or should I just give half a feed?

What I am hoping is that by giving that extra feed she will sleep through till about 6am when we usually get up rather then waking at 4am for a bottle like she usually does.

  • Dummies for babies in Australia?

Does anyone in australia know what brand of dummies is good for babies around 5 / 6 months old that are NOT small enough that they can put the entire thing in their mouths??

I bought a couple of NUK brand 6 month old dummies the other day and my 5 m/o can fit the entire dummy in her mouth that is not good it is dangerous! So does anyone know a brand that the plastic part of the dummy (not the teat) is large enough that babies can't fit the entire thing in their mouths? Preferable the NUK style teats though as she shuns all the other types.
