Is this okay for a 10 month old? Would you do the same?
My 10 month old is currently teething and having a little trouble with eating solid foods, especially her vege's. Last night instead of her getting upset by me trying to give her vege's I just gave her a bottle instead.
Normally she has dinner ( vege's then yogurt or fruit and custard ) has a bit of a play and then goes to bed, she was really tired last night (she didn't sleep well for her day time naps ) so I just gave her a bottle and put her to bed. Is it okay for a 10 month old to skip a solid feed now and then and have a bottle in it's place?
Oh she doesn't take her bottle to bed, I still hold it for her :)

Yes, I think it's quite all right.
I would watch, though- because it may become part of what she thinks is her "normal" routine.
True, she's had a bottle before, but, at a time when in a few months you'll be thinking about weaning her off of the bottle, it may become a little difficult because you used it to get her through this difficult time.
She is still a baby, however, and babies need comfort. If this is what she needs to help her cope, I say go for it.
My son is 14 months and JUST RECENTLY was weaned.

My son (9.5 months) "skips a meal" all the time. He wants nothing to do with jar food anymore so its out of the question so I have to give him whatever im eating without all the extras.
If he doesn't want it, then fine Ill offer something else or a bottle.
He usually has a 6oz bottle every 3.5 (lately 4) hours. A water sippy cup throughout the day which he chugs down I think its because its so hott and my meals (eggs, toast, pieces of cracker, cereals, chicken, avocado, and fruits/veggies loves green beans ect) with snacks like Gerber puffs, yogurt melts ect.
Perfectly fine wont do her any harm :)

That shouldn't do any harm, as long as you don't let it fall into habit and you always try to offer the solids. If she's getting really fussy about it, then it's okay to switch to the bottle, but try again the next day. You don't want to frustrate her, but you don't want her learning that she can duck out of solids if she raises enough of a fuss. Especially veggies.

i think its perfectly fine. especially considering their main source of nutrition should be from formula/breastmilk till 12 months. i know when i dont feel good the last thing i want is food when im really not in the mood...babies are the same

Yes, it is completely fine. At this age most of your daughter's nutrients should still be coming from breast milk/formula feeds anyway.
