why in this day and age?

cant people decribe a computer problem? i mean you can tell your mechanic that your shifter is stuck, you can tell your doctor that your leg is sore, you can tell your cable company that your reception is fuzzy but why is it that someone can walk up to me and say they need more gigibytes and i ask "on your hard drive or do you need more ram" and they repete "gigabytes".. in this day and age where theres a computer on almost every desk and in every backpack and part of everyones cellphone... that they cant tell the diffrence between ram and the hard drive.. ive had this happen like 5 times and i do not work for a computer company or have a tech job (yet) isnt it strange? ever had this happen to you?

I have a tech job. I help people. Today, I had this lady telling me to get her to her email. I asked her what her email was. She could not tell me, but she clearly wanted me to get her into her email. Finally she said Verizon.

I logged onto the site and her user name/password wouldn't work. So, she told me off and asked me if I could get someone "more experienced". Not only that, she spent the whole day calling me and making my life difficult. She would also call me when she figured something out that I couldn't help her with. "So you finally remembered your username and password....good for you"....

Yeah I wanted to kill myself.

Why in this day and age?

Can't people spell "repeat" correctly? Also "difference"?

If you're gonna nitpick like that, better have everything right? It's a risky thing to post, as this can happen to you.

How many times has bad spelling happened to you?

Now, before anyone flames me for any potential grammar, I didn't start this. Just responding.

No, I view this issue like ordering a pizza...When I order a Pizza I know what I want the toppings to be, I know what I like and what i don't like...I don't know the ingredient used to make each topping, all I know is what tastes good..

geez after me answering so rediculiously, I think I'm getting sleepy---good night....:)
