Any good pointe shoe recommendations?
im gonna get my second pair of pointe shoes soon, my first pair were Bloch Seranade MK II. i was thinking about getting Russian Pointes, the Rubins, or Grishko's. i need something with a softer shank b/c i have problems getting fully onto the box, but a standard shank is good too, any suggestions?

You can check out all the styles here.
Only YOU can know which are right for you, as the length of your toes and the shape of your foot and width are huge factors in looking for a pointe shoe.

Hope this helps.

I would go with the Russian Pointes. I have the Russian Pointe and they work great for me! The great thing about them is that the shoes are made by a dancer for dancers. So they really know what they are doing. As far as a softer shank goes, the shanks are all pretty much the same so I would suggest working on getting up on the box. Best of luck!

Russians are known for a small box and hard shank, so for you, I wouldn't use them.
Freeds are soft and comfty!
Good Luck!
