Hi everyone, i am a 19 year old college student, i live away from home, coming home during summers, xmas, etc. my mom has been dating this guy since i was about 14" so about 5 years. She has a history of dating aweful men. This guy is no different. He has jealousy issues so bad, its ridiculous. He death glares anyone who so much as looks at my mom. He threatens other guys and my moms friends. He also has anger issues. Hes broken the wall several times. They have broken up several times but they keep getting back together. The last time, my mom started dating a different guy. I thought they were broken up for good. He came over and the police were called by the boyfriend for some reason (i wasnt home at the time). I didnt do anything before, i let my mom make her mistakes and get hurt. When she got back with this guy again. I made it clear i disapprove. I am uncomfortable around him because his anger is downright scary sometimes. Im afraid my mom will get physicall hurt. Me and my mom get allng really well except for this point - i dont like her dating this guy. He lives at the house even though he has his own place. My mom recently told me she eas going to let him move back in. I am currently visiting my dad and am going home on monday. I have made it iclear i dont want him there when i return but she is not listening to me. I have told her i wont be returning after i leave for school if he doesnt go. I dont know what to do. She says she is the mother, adult, etc. and yes she is. But on this one thiing, i can safely say, she is making the wrong decision. How do i get her to understand that i dont like this guy, not for fun, but because there are reasons. How do i can i get her to understand that while i may still be young, i can see when things arent right and she needs to listen to me for once in my life.

i dropped my ipad 2, while it was in a case, and the screen cracked, so i need a new case for the new ipad, im thinking the griffin survivor or the gumdrop droptech. definitely not the ottorbox. any opinions?

I have an iPad 2, however, i accidentally dropped it and the screen cracked. i went to the apple store and they told me it would cost almost $300 to replace. With all the rumours about the new ipad coming out in march, im thinking i might just hold out with the cracked screen, even though i use my ipad for textbooks, so i dont have to spend $300 now just to spend another $500 when the new one come out. What so you guys think? Should i replace it now? ( i use my ipad ALOT i would say even more then my laptop, i also use it for school, textbooks and sometimes notes) or wait for the new one?

like the starbucks plastic tumblers that look like their cold drink cups? can i brew hot coffee into it? i know ur not supposed to but what would happen if i did?

i got my mavel pierced back in may, its almost been 6 months and it is still scabbing. i went back to the piercer and he said it is not infected. it doesn hurt or pus, it just scabs on the right side and every time i soak it, it goes away but comes back again. im a litrtle worried. does anyone have any advice?

It kinda looks like a bruise around it and there hasn't been pus until some today I'm worried it's been around 4mths?

Im a senior in High school and im taking "Discreet Math and problem solving" which is pretty much "easy math" but my math teacher recommends i take AP stat b/c i want a psych major in college. i decided against taking precalc b/c my math stinks but so many people say AP stat isnt so much math as writing and analyzing data. any opinions? should i take it if i had a "C" in math my jr yr. im learning to play the violin, im currently renting a student violin, i was wondering if i should purchase a student violin which would cost around $500 or if i should get an intermediate or "advanced" one and not have to buy another violin in the future. anyone have any recommendations for violins?
