Should I Wait for the new iPad 3?
I have an iPad 2, however, i accidentally dropped it and the screen cracked. i went to the apple store and they told me it would cost almost $300 to replace. With all the rumours about the new ipad coming out in march, im thinking i might just hold out with the cracked screen, even though i use my ipad for textbooks, so i dont have to spend $300 now just to spend another $500 when the new one come out. What so you guys think? Should i replace it now? ( i use my ipad ALOT i would say even more then my laptop, i also use it for school, textbooks and sometimes notes) or wait for the new one?

Yes, hold out for the iPad 3 for several reasons. 1) Because as you said, the iPad 3 rumored launch date is expected to be sometime in early Spring (in accordance with their other releasing with previous models.) 2) For an extra $200 when the iPad 3 comes out (Apple will probably maintain the $499 starting price point) you will get all the features your iPad 2 had, PLUS all the other new aesthetic features and upgrades the iPad 3 will undoubtedly have. And don't listen to any nonsense about getting another tablet. Don't get something like and iPad...just get an iPad :)

Actually, I would recommend the ASUS Transformer Prime. I used to have an iPad 2 and I cracked my screen as well (it's a small crack, not a huge shatter) and I screwed up the bezel so I purchased the Transformer Prime and I have to say I am LOVING this thing.
