i was thinking about about getting an xbox360...?

I shouldnt imagine so, with microsoft making millions when the 360 came out and still making loads to day, they're going to milk every last dollar out of people before bringing out a new one, you could wait if you like, but my advice is just to get one, and if a new does come out, exchange your old one in a pay whatever excess cash you have to.

The official Microsoft answer to that question is no, there is not another xbox console coming out for awhile. But let's face it, companies of all sorts have lied to protect their product before. You don't have to wait a year though. The E3 Convention is where every gaming company pulls out all the stops and makes a bunch of announcements for the coming year. That happens June 15-17. If they are going to announce another xbox anytime this year I think that is when they would do it. So if you want to play it safe just check the news about E3. If they announce a console they will give you a rough window of time and you can decide from there. However if you are just looking for a good console that will provide you with some great games there is no reason to wait. Especially if you don't mind playing some older games you picked up for really cheap.

i wouldn't see why microsoft would make another xbox in a year or so if they are already making tons of money off of the xbox 360. the 360 will linger on for the next 8-10 years. and project natal is just a stupid motion sensor add-on device for the xbox 360. personally, natal takes away the awesome controller experience that everyone is used to.

I'm pretty sure a new one will come out, because their going to have to have one bundled with natal. Wether it comes with it as a package, or if it is integrated into the xbox is debatable though. But that should happen by at the latest Q4 2010.
