How to digitally download Windows 7 on a mac?
Ive a 15 in macbook pro base model bought last august. I wanna be able to play guild wars 2. I also want to be able to use a student discount but i would have to download itl how do i download it if i ont have a disk?
How do i download it and than burn it or put it on a usb drive? Do i just download it first? But wont t mess up the ios? Also, most colleges do give a discount for windows? Thanks for all the answer!

Microsoft doesn't make a student version of any Windows.
See the link below for all legal downloads of all Windows editions.
The digital download is available as ISO file that you can either burn as a DVD or copy to a USB mini-disk and boot from that.

I think that you always need a disc to get Windows on a Mac. There are various ways to run Windows on a Mac (i.e. Macindows, Parallels, Boot Camp), but I believe you need a disc to use those. There might be a program that allows you to download Windows once the VM (virtual machine) is installed, but I'm not sure. I think I had a program that did that, but I can't remember what it was called.
