I am worried, I might lose my job. If this was your scenerio would you worry about losing your job?

Recently my office has been expanding. We have now three offices. I won't name it but it's out there. They have recently just hired two newcomers and they have a full time (me) who's been there for a while now. I've brought in a lot of people and I've even changed my attitude. One new girl has a (bitchy attitude towards patients) the other doesn't have a clue what's going on. There is no place for me in the office except for the front office. These two are here full time and part time. Would you be worried? What do I do? Serious answers only!!!!!

Update:

I've decided to go back to school, if I get terminated for no reason. But, I can't afford the school I want to go to........ I want to return to become an MA (medical assistant) or PA (Physician Assistant. Well, the one with the attitude made 4 mistakes and the 1 that doesn't know squat or how to talk to patients doesn't know squat

Update 2:

I contacted the boss yesterday because I was concerned about the front office, since I was the one to bring in a lot of patients to the office. I brought in over 700 patients this last few months and it's been getting better and stuff. I've brought my friends into this company, people who have not returned to the office have returned since I've been back and more. Now after hiring these two new girls, the management without reason doesn't send me my schedules for the week, then the assistant manager told me yesterday, "using a lot of um's" that she's got plans for me and that she couldn't go into detail about them, because they didn't know where they were going to put me. Told me to train those two girls asap, because they will be needed in the front office. The new place only has two seats available in the front. Billing department is already full, and the management position is already filled. What other position is there if there's no front office, position. None. Absolutely none.

Update 3:

Well, they spoke to me on Friday,

They did lay me off but with a bad and stupid reason.

Reason: Well, as you know we've expanded and have four new girls, so at this point, we have no place for you. So, what we're going to do is have you train these new girls and then you have two weeks to leave." I asked "why, what did I do wrong", they said, nothing. They said, I did nothing wrong, just that they were expanding and I was no longer needed. That's their reason for laying me off. What a bunch of !@#$$$%"

When you worry, what do you accomplish?

Start thinking about how to make your organization better.

I wouldn't worry. They probably wont cut you since you've been there a decent amount of time. They could however cut your hours. The only things to do is continue to work hard. If you do feel you are in jeopardy then look for a new 1 while you are still working there so that you won't take a loss in wages but i doubt they would let you go.

Honestly from my view point you have nothing to worry about, it sounds as if some of the others you work with should be worried about there jobs and not you. All you can really do is the best job possible and hope for the best.
