I was just wondering if someone can get terminated since they are volunteering for the police department if something in their family did something wrong which was outside of the Police Department? I have a friend who volunteers there and his wife had a mental breakdown a few times.... He has not volunteered for awhile since 08/2012 due to working two positions and recently he was terminated for unknown reasoning. Is that possible that he can get terminated for his wife's mental breakdown?

I was recently laid off and got an opportunity to get a part time position at a clinic that I'd like to work for, but I don't want to lose my benefits. I don't know how much to ask for. Can someone help me please!!!!! Serious answers only!!!!!!! I'm taking on 15-20 hours a week. I was thinking of asking for the initiated price of 13.50 per hour, but, if I do that, I would lose half of my benefits. I don't want that. So, please help me. I get about 900-1200 a month now for being laid off, if with this position I'd still get the same amount whether taking the position or not. I want to also go to school and eat up the edd benefit because I was unlawfully laid off due to some stupid circumstances. Please help!!!!!!!!

I just want to start out by saying, he's only a friend. I never offended him nor insulted him in any way, shape or form......He's been checking up on me or I've been letting him know that I'm doing better on a monthly basis. You know, like a checking in buddy system. Usually, he writes to me in a second, but I wrote him like 2 days ago and there's no response, not even with the second email. Hoping he would come to some party, but he never showed up? Does this mean that he's mad at me for some reason? Or does it mean that he's just busy? I like him as a friend, not a lover, or anything. We've been friends for 10 years or more.... Recently, ran into some small minor issues about life and he is my savior, but I keep in contact with him just in case something goes virally wrong with me. Please help??????

My boss has threatened me at work that she's

1) Going to fire me

2) Going to take away my bonus

3) Not going to pay the full amount of the bonus

4) Not going to pay me for the full amount of waived insurance

All because she thinks that I don't support her through donations or support her what she is doing.

I support her office, isn't that enough? I help her with her problems, I take care of office problems, lawsuits and other stuff that is wrong and medically wrong with this clinic. Isn't this enough support? Please help me, if I get fired for this type of stuff, Can I take her to court and use the text messages and emails she has been writing to me in court? How much can one get after we go to court if anyone knows?

Hello I have 3 blue cichlid rams that are having health issues, I don't know what the problem is:

Symptoms: 1) not eating 2) water temp is good 3) water condition is clean 4) 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, and ph is 6.7-7.0 5) The cichlids themselves turn to a dark brown and start to die off one at a time. Anyone can help, please let me know Thank you

I just want to Vent today..... I'm feeling down in the dumps for a lot of reasons and I don't know how to stop it. 1) I hate where I'm at work that is (but I can't get out of the one I'm at). 2) I'm tired of doing all of my coworkers jobs for them, because they won't do it (but the management doesn't care and won't give me more pay because of all the work I do. 3) I'm kind of tired of life the way it is...... a) Dad passed away recently, so I'm always visiting his graveyard b) Mom hangs on to me like a puppy but enjoys insulting and embarrassing me in front of millions of people when I'm the only one taking care of her, so she thinks it's okay that she does this. 4) I'm kind of tired of the married life. I want to be single but can't afford it 5) I don't feel like living anymore again, I went through this life time ago, when I was down in the dumps and I was suicidal. I haven't been suicidal for a while now, but am in the same process of thinking of suicide, maybe that's why I'm driving down the freeway at 85mph wondering when am I going to get caught or when am I going to get into an accident and not make it through it this time. 6) I'm tired of hanging around an office and just fixing everything for everybody (patients and office staff included. When I have so many personal problems going on with my life. I don't enjoy life anymore and I can't help myself. I am no longer happy and will never be happy or be able to make myself happy. I don't know what else to do for myself but vent. My husband is a kind of not caring type of person nor is he a talker, my friends are all far away or out of the country, I hate my coworkers because they vent how rich and powerful they are and I'm sick of it, few friends I have left are still around, but I don't talk with them much anymore. Just venting if you feel this way let me know what you have done to improve life. AND DON'T TELL ME TO PRAY TO GOD, BECAUSE IT AIN'T WORKIN!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 cats, 2 birds, 2 rabbits (recently) adopted, and fish tons of fish. But I'm thinking of getting rid of some of the fish and cleaning the house a bit, but I fell in love with two long haired hamsters and they are adorable. Before I got the rabbit i was thinking of getting the hamsters instead, but now I want the hamsters? What do I do? Please let me know whether to get them or not I will take your advice into consideration. Thank you

Hello, my father is going through a lot of hip pain and there is no circulation in his right foot, so it has now turned to black gangrene. 1) The doctors in the hospital think it's time to send him to hospice care which is let him completely stop dialysis and just give him pain medication to let him sleep it all off and pass away peacefully, just like you're putting a dog down. 2) Mom and I want him to be healthy continue to do dialysis but want him to become stronger, but he's not becoming stronger, I guess because he is so weak, but 1) his mind is very clear 2) He only cries out in pain when my mother and I visit him, so we're trying to get him off of a lot of the pain meds 3) I think there is something wrong with his hip replacement which the hospital did for him. He doesn't complain much about the foot pain only hip pain. But, mom and I don't want him to suffer anymore, but want him to be alive at the same time.......

Please let me know what you think would be the best way to handle this? Thank you

I found out that my third pair of angelfish have hatched a newly batch of eggs on the side of the fish tank. I would like to hand raise them, but I don't know how to remove them from the fish tank itself. They are laid on the side of the glass in the corner and I would love to raise them by hand. I have three separate breeding pair and so proud of my success, but I don't know how to remove them carefully from the side of the tank or is that even necessary or should I wait until they are free swimming then remove them with a small tube by sucking them out of the tank?

Hello All, I hope someone out there can possibly help me. I've been losing my temper lately and it's affecting my work. I get upset with the slightest thing..... You see, I'm getting short with these people that I know not from work for for the work purpose. They ask me the same questions day in and day out, they don't know their insurance, they don't know what their insurance is, and they don't seem to understand that in our office we do not give out private information regarding anything of any sort. They continue to push and push and push and push until your buttons are ready to explode. There's no respect over the phone when they call, namely none at all. My angelfish laid around 100 eggs again, but I don't know when I should remove them? Do I move them now? 2 days while the little one are wiggling or do I remove them asap after being laid? Please help

I hadn't had a glass cover or light over my fish tank for quite a while now.... for almost three months.... I know I had the new tank syndrome happen to me and now the old tank syndrome, but these were all due to not having any light to the aquarium or glass cover for the 135 gallon tank? Is this true or is there something definitely wrong with the water?

Is 20 gallons big enough for 20 angels? they are about 2 inches each. One died already crashing into the rocks and getting picked on, I just wanted to know if a 20 gallon tank is enough room for 11 angel fish. Serious answers please

I work at a clinic like I've said, but today was the most amazing interesting turn of events during a meeting in our office today. I newly hired girl who's been there for only 3 weeks was given the biggest duty on earth. Patient contacted her and ask regarding the prescription and she told patient to wait a week for the prescription to get approved. Well, it doesn't take a week, it take only 2 seconds to find out what medication covers or not. So, she fouled up had the patient wait one week and told her that she'll give the doctor that saw her on duty on saturday to review heart medication. Well, 04/19/2010 she received paperwork and said, she never did receive it. All along it was only her who was working on the paperwork. Since, the manager gave My duty to her to do. She fouled up. She waited till 04/23/2010 to respond. Patient got pissed and called the CEO and contacted me at the office. Today, 04/28/2010 at the meeting, she said, that someone sabotaged her. Is this cause for a firing????????

I have two new girls that were just hired into the office. They are both on their 90 day probation, yet every time a patient complains about them or the office complains about them, the office ceo and manager doesn't acknowledge their wrongdoing or trying to hide things in the office to work on.

The office is a place of life and death for patients and these two newby's are not listening to the manager in the office and making decisions on their own. How does one get rid of them?

I have been trying my hardest to train these two newcomers at the office. For instance: how to handle the front office situation, paperwork, and other stuff that we in the front office is supposed to be doing.

For the past two weeks, these newcomers are not doing a good job. 1) They have bitchy attitudes while you're trying to train them. Then before finishing or starting a sentence about the training stuff, they say "we already know". They know nothing. 2) Then they try to hide things to try to figure out what to do with the paperwork that comes in to the office. This office is a life and death situation. It's a clinic for goodness sake. 3) They are so bossy to the people in the office and can't talk nicely to the people in the office. There is more, but What suggestions do you all have for me to deal with? Do I contact go in tomorrow morning and discuss this situation with the main boss or the manager. The manager isn't doing anything about it. The CEO doesn't do anything about it. I have no way around. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Serious answers only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently my office has been expanding. We have now three offices. I won't name it but it's out there. They have recently just hired two newcomers and they have a full time (me) who's been there for a while now. I've brought in a lot of people and I've even changed my attitude. One new girl has a (bitchy attitude towards patients) the other doesn't have a clue what's going on. There is no place for me in the office except for the front office. These two are here full time and part time. Would you be worried? What do I do? Serious answers only!!!!!
