I don't know how much to claim for a part time position and not lose my edd benefit?
I was recently laid off and got an opportunity to get a part time position at a clinic that I'd like to work for, but I don't want to lose my benefits. I don't know how much to ask for. Can someone help me please!!!!! Serious answers only!!!!!!! I'm taking on 15-20 hours a week. I was thinking of asking for the initiated price of 13.50 per hour, but, if I do that, I would lose half of my benefits. I don't want that. So, please help me. I get about 900-1200 a month now for being laid off, if with this position I'd still get the same amount whether taking the position or not. I want to also go to school and eat up the edd benefit because I was unlawfully laid off due to some stupid circumstances. Please help!!!!!!!!

You claim it all or you are committing benefits fraud that you can be jailed for. You WILL get caught, since they do go back and check your actual income with the employer.
You are asking how to commit a crime. You are asking the taxpayers how to steal their money.
The benefits are to help you out when you need them, NOT to subsidize yoru schooling.
