Good question!
I'm going for 56 stars.
MotoGP / 500 = 18
125 = 1 ( I think )
250 = 9
350 = 11
WSS = 1
WSB = 7
Then I guess there could be the old F1 titles with Foggy having 2, Joey Dunlop having 2.
World Endurance titles, add another 3 I think.
Superstock, another 2 maybe.
56 is pretty good. I would have thought Italy would have more then 42. I guess Vale is doing his best to add to that.

Hi Cadalora, It one of those questions I hate to look up, I start with a question and forget halfway through the research what im looking for and find something else that takes my attention. then lose track of that, and have to start again.
I will go along with Wiggysan, he's good at stuff like that.
And im still thinking about the Ali airbox !!
Edit @ Ciccio, Not much of a tradition, Motorcycle racing in Mexico But your memory serves you well. I think your bang on with the title holders. Might be right about the airbox too.
I will start the research !

Ok, I'm gonna answer this question without using any books, encyclopedias, wikipedias or almanacs. Purely my knowledge hoping it will be graded with higher merit over some research.
here we go....
MotoGP / 500 = 0
125 = 0
250 = 0
350 = 0
WSS = 0
WSB = 0
No golden stars on my shirt.
@ Proc: The alu airbox is just a diversion from the real issue. What the @$&# are we gonna do when we run out of engines mid season?
