Some of these have been named, but I gave 4 or 5 (out of 5) stars to:
Hiding Out (comedy w/Jon Cryer)
The Breakfast Club
Pretty in Pink
Sixteen Candles
Heathers
Gremlins
Weird Science
Beetlejuice
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Back to the Future
Ghostbusters
Real Genius
Hairspray (the ORIGINAL)
Heaven Help Us (rebellious students at Catholic boys' school)
Splash (Daryl Hannah as a mermaid)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (playing hooky was never so fun)
The Lost Boys (vampire movie blending horror and humor)
Fright Night (horror/humor vampire movie, classic cheesy 80s)
Once Bitten (early Jim Carrey vampire movie, funny)
Little Shop of Horrors (remake came out in 80s)
Vibes (absurd, wonderful comedy with Cyndi Lauper and an early Julian Sands and Jeff Goldblum, psychics hunt for treasure)
