compare the diversity & abundance of life in the Amazon to the almost total lack of any kind of resident life in Antarctica and tell me which climate is more conducive to life.
cold is deadly,warmer is better.

Global Warming is not true, All it is, is an advertisement that stupid people who think they are helping a good cause give money to that people stuff into there pockets and do no research at all.
Hears a couple of examples why global warming is not true -
- first off the so called scientist state the fact that the ice caps are melting and show you sad pictures of polar bears dieing. Truth be told that the Not so long ago, the Ice caps were recorded 3 inches thicker than ever recorded on history.
- Evidence show that the 1000 years ago the earth was hotter than it is today
- Nasa has stated that the hottest years of the Century were not the 90's or 00's but the 1930's
- Arctic website Crysophere Today reported that Arctic ice volume was 500,000 sq km greater than this time last year.
- Ten years ago Different Scientists were telling people that it was global freezing, it just did not get as much media coverage.
Truth be told its a big scam for you to fork over your money for them telling you a lie. The Earth goes through out cycles that make it get hot and cold. We Just have to live with it a realize we cant change it.

Dementia, I notice you've been copy/pasting the same answer for a heap of different questions. Understandable, since you don't want to have to write the same thing out a million times. However, that also means it shouldn't be too hard for you to include sources. What would be even better is if you didn't use facts that are easily disproved. For example:
"Not so long ago, the Ice caps were recorded 3 inches thicker than ever recorded on history"
This means nothing if you can't say when. For all I know, not so long ago is a hundred years ago, especially when you start talking about a thousand years ago later in your post.
"Evidence show that the 1000 years ago the earth was hotter than it is today"
Now, this is where not showing your sources becomes really bad, because I can very, very easily find reputable sources that prove you wrong. This could just be something you've made up, without sources.
"Nasa has stated that the hottest years of the Century were not the 90's or 00's but the 1930's"
Yeah. IN AMERICA. That doesn't actually mean a whole lot, especially when the hottest year on record GLOBALLY was 2005. Again, look at my sources.
"Arctic website Cryosphere Today reported that Arctic ice volume was 500,000 sq km greater than this time last year."
I'm finding it hard to get any evidence about this. Again, sources come in handy here. However, since your other points are quite flimsy, I doubt this is anymore correct.
"Ten years ago Different Scientists were telling people that it was global freezing, it just did not get as much media coverage."
Maybe it didn't get media coverage because it was bad science. Also, ten years ago? In 2000? Scientists had already started picking up on climate change.
The idea that climate scientists are all scamming us for more funding is kind of ridiculous if you think about it for more than a minute. If they're getting funding for climate change research, then they will have to use that funding for climate change research. They don't take home the money and buy themselves a yacht, they have to use the money for what they say they will. If climate change in fact doesn't exist, it makes the whole thing completely redundant.
Now, I'm going to take this and paste it wherever I see your posts.
Also, to actually answere the question:
A difference in a couple of degrees temperature upsets the natural balance. It causes coral bleaching, killing habitats for hundreds of species of marine animals and thus destroys the food chain. Although warm _weather_ might be nice, and overall warmer planet is not.

Yeah we had growers in South Florida that lost a lot and so warming to them is good. When the temperatures get close to freezing they have to put water on the plants and a protective sheeting. It acts as an insulation from the cold but too cold and it doesn't matter.

Arctic website Cryosphere Today reported that Arctic ice volume was 500,000 sq km greater than this time last year."
I'm finding it hard to get any evidence about this. (Other poster)

Also everyone is now aware that coral bleaching is down to fishing, not over-fishing, fishing nothing to do with so-called Global Warming. The "no-take" areas set up around the UK have shown a remarkable growth across the whole bio spectrum.

History shows that all life on the planet prospers during the warming periods.
Unfortunately we're in a cooling phase right now and it may be decades before the warming returns.
- Anonymous1 decade ago
The warming benefits far out weigh the cooling ones and are as follows:
• Increased agricultural productivity & land (more rain, warmth & Co2)
• Longer growing seasons for all plant life
• Greening of some of the Earth's vast frozen land masses (Canada, Russia, China)
• Increased Co2 absorption rate
• Added habitat for wildlife
• More bountiful food for animal life
• Less food/energy requirements for animal life
• Less net global energy requirement for humans
• Less deforestation for heating fuel
• Less cold related severe weather and death
MOST IMPORTANTLY: if we are very lucky and warm enough, we may even avert the next ice age: Ice ages are not controversial ideas like global warming, they are real and acknowledged by all scientists regardless of political affiliation. They occur like clockwork, they appear very rapidly, within a few human generations, and wipe out most animal and plant life on the planet.

No, you'd be wrong again. That link you provided only talks about weather's impact on Florida tomatoes not climate's impact on the global food supply.

some areas are being made fertile like you have stated however others are being destroyed look at africa the sahara is growing. yes warming can be seen as good when you put it that way since grapes can be grown in more northern countries ...... but on top of that wildlife is being killed or displaced that can screw up our ecology big time. you need water also, most northern countries weather would be affected so i dont think more food would occur in fact i would summise that food production would go down. plus that article has alot of gaps in its knowledge base

There are many more aspects of a rise in global temperature other than "Plants eat good." A couple are listed in the links below.
