It's not wrong. Sometimes, the bad guy isn't really a bad guy, and the same goes for good guys.

For example, it's debated if political activist Ernesto "Che" Guevara was actually a good person or not. He helped many people that were in poverty, but made sweeping, and sometimes unwanted changes to government before he was assassinated by the CIA. However, in the movie The Motorcycle Diaries, he is seen as a hero (since he is a main character).

Another example is Tony Almeida from 24. He worked for the government for many, but after his wife was killed by terrorists, he worked with both the terrorists and the government at the same time, trying to find and kill the leader of the terrorist organization who killed his wife. He is portrayed as a villain, but as his reasoning shows it, he stopped many terrorist attacks and saved many lives, though he killed a few innocents while he was at it. I personally think he was, overall, good, but at the end of season 7, he is seen being dragged away by police.

So it's not wrong to agree with their motives, though you may want to be wary of their methods. ;)

Nope. In fact, it sometimes makes watching a film more interesting.

For example, I always root for the villains in slasher movies, like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc, because I don't give a crap about a bunch of stupid teenagers. It's way more fun to think of the villain as the protagonist sometimes.

Although, there are some movies where the villain is so evil and unlikable, you just hope they die.

I wish more movies had the villain win in the end. :/

No, sometimes the heroes are complete douchebags. Sometimes a villain also has a view that is accurate. Seems like you agree with the villain's view, but that doesn't necessarily mean you agree with the villain's methods of making that view come to fruition. For example, in order to fix the human race's problems, one does not necessarily have to kill everyone and start over. There are other options.

NOT AT ALL, unless the villain is very gruesome or terrifying, but remember, there are always both sides to something so even if you agree with a villain, others can agree with it too.

Source(s): im a villain XD jk i always liked the dark side, cause they had fresh cookies XD
