What do you think about the cut on American Idol?

Some folk say racism  plays a part in American Idol.  I am not sure!  What is certain is the fact it is NOT BASED on one's singing talent.   I do not think that American Idol solely relies on the votes of the people.  THIS IS A DECEPTION THAT WE ARE TOLD AND BUY INTO.   Remember, A-Idol is the one who tells us the calculations; why not a private law firm to show honesty?   Last night, four minorities got the axe.   I know that Seller probably got more votes than most candidates.  I am not certain A-Idol allowed him to go on? He was not the image they wanted and rightly so. The first round of cuts, two talented hispanics were axed.  Do you have any idea of the number of votes they received from just hispanics alone?   Am I to believe that others got more votes than they?   I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT AMERICAN IDOL IS RACIST; they just know who they want.  They always try to get a "white male" on every show.   Last year, it was obvious they wanted a "gay" winner.     THEY "NEVER" wanted a black female winner, NEVER!!!      They went out of their way to discourage Fantasia to quit EVEN ON HER LAST PERFORMANCE.   American Idol arranged for a professional BLACK FEMALE stoolie AND A WHITE MALE to convince Fantasia to drop out of the show.   She did not do it, and the rest is history!   They knew that the other little "white girl" would win had Fantasia quit.   That was VERY LOW to simply ask her to quit!  This means the other girl would have won by default.   My point is, A-Idol is not simply a singing contest where the best singer is chosen.   This year it is OBVIOUS that they want a "White Male" again.   The one hispanic and the two black males will be gone the third and fourth time around.    The black girl is acceptable because she sings "Country Music."      AM I THE ONLY ONE NOTICING HOW THE BLACK GIRLS THAT WERE KEPT (EXCLUDING MICHELLE) SANG COUNTRY?  Okay, what message is A-Idol sending?   Regardless, the final will result in two "WHITE" males.   WHO HAS WON THE LAST THREE SHOWS?????   Simon is fixated on "white males."

You have a point, I'm Hispanic and I agree to an extent.  But what about Ruben Studdard, he's black.  And they've been pretty much saying that they think a girl's gonna win this year.  A minority, well, that may not happen, but women Are classified as minorities too, you know!

I've no problem with those who have left so far. My favorites on the show (didn't watch season 1) have included Ruben, Fantasia, Carrie/bo (didn't much care), Chris Daughtry, Melinda, David Cook, and Allison. Some are white, some are black and some are hispanic. Some are men and some are women. I think the ones who left this year have either sung horribly or didn't bring anything at all to the competition. I was hoping for Jermaine and Haeley to go this week (along with whoever else). Haeley can't even sing. Jermaine is way too over the top with his runs. Out of eight seasons, blacks have won 3 times. That's more than the population ratio of black to white in the country. I'm just not buying it.

Jordan Sparks is half black, her father were a football player Phillippi Sparks

The three worst female for the last two weeks were Haeley, Lacey and Didi
None of these should of made the top 12.  Michelle should be there over Lacey and Didi
Haeley is 16 and sang a song from a 16 year old, like they ask from her and Katie(the two high school girl)

I would not rule out Michael or Andrew out
Both could win
The two girls most put on top are white this year

Please, Please people...stop always playing the race card every time someone who is not white goes home.  Some of the very best performers on this show were black.  LaToya London, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Paris, Mandesa, Vonzelle Soloman, Tamara Grey, the list goes on an on.  Many, many white kids can't hold a candle to these performers.  And everyone who has seen 
idol knows this.  But every time a black performer gets voted off [and it is bound to happen from time to time], someone gets on their high horse and tries to start a race war.  
You need to get over yourselves, and stop whining every time it happens.  
People who sign up for these contests know that they must hold onto their talent and get on with the idea of competing and honing their craft.  

It's about talent - and maybe personality.  And that combination occurs in black and white competitors alike.
