my new laptop didn't come with a windows disk?

yes most laptops and notebooks arent coming with them, what you have to do call the manufacturer, they are going to SELL you a copy, it shouldn't run you anymore than $20, or if your laptop has it, check for Recovery management, it should let you make a copy of a Recovery disc from your laptop

im assuming you have windows 7

do a full backup on your computer onto a removable drive

(i do this regularly)

1.click start button

2.go to search bar type: backup

3.click on backup and restore

4.click on change settings

5.select where you want to save backup on disks or removable drive ( i use drive)

6.next then let me choose

7.next then make sure every box is selected

8. save settings

9.BACKUP

use your friends or neighbors... but use the code on YOUR pc when registering it with MS.. make sure you match your old OS with the borrowed disk.. ie.. win7 pro with win7 pro

it will run slow
