it is illegal. the games are copyright and getting them without the box for free is illegal. just like limewire, where you are illegaly getting copyright music for free, on isohunt you are illegaly getting copyright games and roms/emulators. you shouldnt do it..... yet many people do, but you may get caught... so think it throygh before you break the law.

Okay, if the Copyright expired on a game, usually ten to twenty years, then it isn't illegal. You need to check your state laws, because every state has different laws. It's not illegal where I live. It also depends on the system. I don't know which systems, but I know that two are legal to download where I live, but I don't know which systems, as the website didn't say.

Emulators ARE Legal. they only run the programs, no stolen code.

ROMs, however, are NOT. they are pretty much equal to music ripped from cds.

But if the copyright has expired, I'd say it would be ok. make sure the copyright hasn't been extended first, though!

u need an R4 card which is like a normal DS cartridge, then you need a micro sd card to put into it. you put the stuff on the sd card. its sort of illegal to put download games and put them onto it, try googling ds roms to find them or use torrents/lime wire.

Since you get something that you needed to be pay for for free, then it's illegal even if its a ROMs.

But seriously mate, no one cares about it
