How can I lose weight safely?

I gained a lot of weight lately and I don't feel like myself and none of my clothes fit me anymore.. I am really depressed all of the time but I have a hard time having self-control and will power. I always eat a ton and especially when I'm alone. I am not hungry when I binge. I feel like I'm addicted to food and I am 15 and want to [re]learn healthy habits before I go to college. I want to lose 15-20 lbs by april, 9th this year. Please give me tips or plans. Thanks so much! :D

P.S. I am on my school's (girl's) varsity cross country/ track teams so I run at least 6 days a week and don't slack off, I work hard in practice. Should I add my own strength training or extra exercises on my own, it's 98% eating that's making me gain weight and not lose weight (including no will power/ stuff along those lines) but I don't thonk more exercise would hurt.

I really want to lose weight because I feel out of character and depressed, and it would just make my life easier if I could do this. It is hard to explain how much stress it causes me. :(

    Go biking, first day you'll probably bike an hour, then you'll find it so fun that you do it everyday for a long time even if you dont intend to lose weight. its so easy :D

    Well while i am hungry I drink a few water due to the fact that you would simply be thirsty and also you would simply feel that you are hungry!! If you wish to tone your belly you'll lie on a mat, positioned your left foot over your correct knee (that is bent)..positioned your left hand for your belly and your different at the back of you head and do sit down ups....this manner is much less difficult then the opposite direction. If you do 10 of them three instances an afternoon in the beginning after which move as much as 15 after a whilst and the 20... !! And to detox devour prunes....means nicer then the juice I swear... Hope that is helping hun xx Oh yeah and if you are a individual that may run (I cannot due to the fact that of bronchial asthma) you would run across the block within the morning or some thing xx Your suggestions are foremost....every body will have to do this anyhow...i do the three matters you point out!! Sorry if i am complicated you!! xx

    Don't get too wrapped up in special diets. Just remember that the basic rule for losing weight is to decrease fat intake (calories) and increase physical activity.

    Some simple things to help your metabolism and weight are:

    1) Eat regularly, skipping meals will hurt more than it helps.

    2) Cut down (or just stop) drinking soda, water is much better for you in MANY ways.

    3) Stay active. You don't have to go to a gym. Even walking at a decent pace for 30 mins a day will do wonders for you.

    If you know right weight loss information and way, weight loss is easy. If you are very serious, you need to have fast weight loss way that works for you.     You need help. You can't work this out on your own. Go to some one you really respect, but some one who has been where you are. Don't talk to people who have not had this problem. My advice is seek profession help. In the mean time go for low carbohydrate foods. The tend to make you feel full. Where as fatty foods will make you feel you want more.
