How should Nascar penalize Carl Edwards for his intentional wrecking of Brad Keselowski?

If a part of the car flies into the stands and kills someone, Does he get charged with Manslaughter, afterall; his actions are what would have caused a death if that happened, especially when the lap before, Edwards tried to do the same thing but missed Keselowski. I say sit Edwards out for 3 races, and fine him at least $ 100,000.and also take the points he earned that day too.

If they were both battling for position, I wouldn't have cared. But......Carl was 156 laps down, there is no reason, I don't care who you are to drive like that when your 156 laps down. I'd like to see if if Robby Gordon or one of the less popular ones did that what would happen. If nascar does nothing, then I think that sends a message to all the field that even if your 200 laps down, don't move out of the way, just drive like he*l. So now that Edwards only gets a 3 race probation, which is nothing. It just tells the guys in the back......when someone in 43rd, 200 laps down in the upcoming races, it's alright to take out Johnson, Martin, JR, Stewart, Kahne, Gordon or anyone else on the lead lap.

Suspend Carl Edwards from Nationwide Series races for the rest of the season.

He should get the same punishment Keselowski got for intentionally wrecking him in Talladega last year and sending him airborne hurting 7 people in the stands -- nothing. Unless NASCAR has forgotten they let Keselowski off the hook. Edwards should get off the hook too. Now they are even. They need to see how reckless Brad K. is and why everyone else think he is too aggressive.

portion of it i think of is that there replaced into some historic previous between Edwards and Keselowski earlier Atlanta, and Keselowski's twist of fate replaced into plenty greater extreme. i do no longer comprehend that there is the same form of historic previous between Reutimann and KyBusch, and the end results of the destroy weren't almost as extreme from a secure practices attitude. additionally, for all all of us comprehend, Reutimann and Busch have been given telephone calls this week asserting relatively "there won't be any of that stuff next week. maximum suitable?"

First off if NASCAR hadn't mandated the use of an airplane wing on the back of the COT the car would not have went airborne, and if it would have gone into the stands it would have been on NASCARs heads in my opinion, and gee if you want to go there I guess they should have suspended Dale Sr for life. even Mr nice guy J G has put a few punks into the wall over the years, they just didn't go airborne. except for the airborne thing (NASCAR's fault) I love it, I look forward to the rivalry.

Nothing until Nascar does away with the policy that they enacted at the start this season. Which was to let drivers settle their own differences. And they didn't specify if they meant on the track or off!

They just said they were going to let the drivers police themselves! Again Nascar is not being clear about the rules!

Have Edwards sit qualifying for the rest of the year and where ever Brad qualifies, Edwards has to start in the same row one spot in front of him.

Seriously, Edwards learned his lesson. He now realizes that taking a swipe at someone can really go wrong.

If he wanted to blame Keselowski for what happened earlier then thats fine, whatever. First of all I think that Edwards should've been blaming himself for that more then Keselowski. I think Edwards cut Keselowski off in the middle of the turn early in the race in hopes that the 12 would wreck, but when it lead to the 99 wrecking himself he went into roid rage. I say sentence him to death by electric chair if he kills someone.

Tie him to a chair and put him in a room with a lot of judgmental Y/Aers with short memories and let him listen to them for 12 hours. Let them badger him about how he overreacted and he should keep his temper in check before he kills someone, while at the same time yelling he has mental problems and he should die in an electric chair.

    That should do it.

Source(s): no fan of Edwards, but not a particular fan of mob mentality, either

Not at all. Brad needs to LEARN he is not Dale Sr. Carl and Denny have tried to talk to him, but he don't listen! Maybe he's listening now.
