Amazons cuts off Colorado businesses due to state-mandated internet tax. Residents must also pay taxes?

This is a sign of things to come. I believe that every state will do this in the near future. Heck, the libbies actually want to tax the air that we breathe (Cap and Trade).

We'll see what Amazon does when all the states do this mandated internet tax. Are they just going to go out of business? I don't think so. They want to keep making money.

They have the right to not do business in any state. If they're mad about it, good. They fixed their tax problem. But they also started a problem with their customers from that state. Are they likely to go back if Amazon would come back? I wouldn't.

Internet purchases were never exempt from sales tax. If you buy something on the Internet, then you MUST file a special out-of-state sales tax form (go to your state tax board site and find this form) and pay the tax.

The case in dispute is only if the State of Colorado can make out-of-state business to collect thier sales tax for them.
