Avatar the movie, do you think it has changed some peoples minds on climate change?

It hasn't changed my mind - I already believe we are treating our home like a dump!

Well Avatar isn't really about climate change at all. It's mainly about the mistreatment of indigenous populations. I mean, sure there are environmental themes in the film as well. However the environmental themes are more concerned over deforestation and exploitation of natural resources, not climate change.

So I'm hardly surprised it hasn't turned people's heads on climate change - it wasn't supposed to nor was it aiming to.

Not sure, but an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger changed my life.

I agree Dr. Jello, It always cracks me up when the movie industry starts with a commercial about how wrong it is to pirate films. Its stealing, they say. Funny that many of the movies that they make glorify stealing and much worse, yet they are surprised when people "steal" their over-priced movies.

Now I believe it's ok to kill my fellow men to protect a tree. Movies are a great place to learn morals and values.
