To the atheists: What does spirituality mean to you?

wine, women and song.

To me spirituality means a sense of wonder at the vastness of the universe.

The knowledge of how insignificant the earth is on a universal scale.

To marvel at the diversity of life on this single planet and to know that amongst the hundreds of billions of stars that there is a great chance that there are other species out there in time and space.

To try to learn something new everyday and sometimes make those connections between different bits of information that sometimes take my breath away.

To me that is more marvelous and wonderful (in the true sense of the word) than any religious texts or sermons from some dogmatic preacher.

A term which is so often used and abused for anything outside of the natural and testable realm that it has become meaningless.

It means fiction can be a dangerous thing in the hands of the weak-minded.

Family, music, love, laughter, oh, and the beauty of nature as seen by modern mainstream scientific descriptions of the natural world..

None of that invisible magic sky fairy rubbish..!

Gullibility.

For me personally, I suppose it's something having nothing to do with religion. For me, it's sort of just living.

Honestly, it means nothing to me.
