Are Republicans Committing Political Suicide Over Health Care Reform?

Republican suggestions of "starting over" is the equivalent of the "Civil Rights" "wait, change will come eventually". Health Care Providers and Carriers or Insurers have had years to demonstrate the integrity of doing what is correct.

There is no profit model in "Health Care Reform".

Update:

Opposition to "health Care Reform" is so similar to the critics of "Civil Rights" it is scary.

Has anyone been cancelled, denied, or paid their own cobra premium?

    They very well might be.

I was talking to my husband yesterday about the Repubs... at first I thought in 2012 they would have a good chance of winning the White House back, but... between their hateful tea-party pals and this far right wing agenda they have, I don't think they are going to make it.

Most Americans are moderates... unless they put up a really good and moderate Republican candidate, the Dems will still have the White House in 2012.

Congress will probably be a different story... lol

It is never 'political suicide' to pay attention to what the voters want.

And if the Dems pass Obamacare - everybody with a good health insurance plan is going to get _really_ upset.

Hint: Obama wants to place a tax on an industry that averages a 3% profit. Since there is not enough profit to pay this tax - it will be passed on to the consumers as higher healthcare premiums.

  • No. Democrats are if they pass it. Most americans do not want this health care bill and they want congress to start over.

    haha that's a good one.

This is what happens when you get brainwashed with the liberal state-run media.

The public does not want healthcare. You will find that out in November. Of course the state-run media will blame Palin for that I bet lol somehow :) And you'll go right on drinking the kool-aid like a good little liberal.

Yes. You wait until this and their anti-hispanic rhetoric from the SCOTUS confirmation come back to haunt them.

Look at what happened in Massachusetts and ask the question again.

Obama and the Democratic leadership are telling the American people, "We know you don't like this bill, but We're doing it anyway."

And you're worried about the republicans??!!
