Homosexuality is a sin, just like any other sin. Homosexuals will not enter heaven because no sinners can enter heaven. But you see, since that is the case, then we are all destined for hell, because homosexual or not, we are all equal sinners. The difference is Jesus Christ. Once you accept Him as your personal Savior, all your sins are forgiven and they are no more.

Just like any other sin, if you repent and ask for forgiveness, God will freely give it. But, in order to live righteously and accordingly, we must then try our best to turn away from our prior lives of sin. If a homosexual accepts Jesus as his or her savior, he or she should realize that homosexuality is a sin that must be forgiven and then abandoned. Once one repents for his sin, then he should not continue living in it.

When the Bible says that homosexuals are going to hell, it is only referring to those who allow their homosexuality to define their lives. I know a few people who struggle with homosexuality, yet are not defined by it. What should define our lives is the joy of knowing God's love for us.

It is not because they are a homosexual but it is because they sinned. In christianity any sin sends you to hell if you do not obtain God's forgiveness. If you think you will go to hell by being homosexual and a christian, it is ignorant. It's not about what is shown on the outside, it's about what is in your heart. I've done plenty of wrong things even when in my heart I knew it wasn't what I really wanted to do, but I was afraid of what would happen if I didn't do it. As long as you are alive, new ways to make mistakes are going to pop up, and you have to make a decision, sometimes without all the information you need. So it's about what is in your heart. Some people will never be fortunate enough to understand that.

Homosexuality was associated with the Romans. Same sex relations, though not viewed in the same way we see it today, was inextricably linked to Roman culture, society and even religion. After the persecution and decimation of early Christians by the Romans, Christians came to demonized most things that had any connection to Rome and its culture.

I'd wish so. I absolutely am now not going to get stuck alive in heaven, what with all of the cheesy decorations that have to be all cluttered approximately from all of the ones Southern housewives. Cow print desk skirts- ughhhhhhhh.

Well.. everyone has their own personal belief. If you haven't noticed with Christians.. most of them are hypocrites. Just like the rest of the world, I suppose. But, god said that people shouldn't be judged for who they are, blah blah blah. So being yourself is all that god expects of you. And yes, we are all sinners. No matter what people say. No one is perfect. AT ALL. God made us this way for a reason and if we **** up, he's already forgiven. You live and learn.

Gay people can be forgiven. How can you judge a gay person that they will go to hell? Who knows if they are going to hell or not. You don't know if they are going to heaven or not because what if they are forgiven because they always come to the lord to ask for forgiveness. You can't tell God to not forgive them. Its God decision.

Whenever Christians disagree with someone, they say that person is 'Going to Hell'. "Gay" is just the most recent Christian buzzword. Former buzzwords have included witch, prostitute, Jew, heathen, divorcee, glutton, blasphemer, drunkard, and Roman. You get the idea. Whoever they're not fond of at the time, that's whose 'going to Hell'.

Bear in mind that Christians aren't the ones who control your fate. They just pretend they can.

  • Probably because I refuse to ask forgiveness for something that is beautiful. My sex with my lover is at least as sacred as anyone else's.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

They aren't, but it is too bad that there is no hell for ignorant fundie bigots.

King James was not a homophobe, in fact, King James was a homosexual. Paul was the homophobe.
