Spring training sign of thing to come for the Giants?
I know that Spring Training doesn't prove much, but does the 7-1 Giants' Spring Training record a sign of things to come?
I agree that spring training does not mean that much, but the Giants are a good team. I see them winning from 90-100 wins this season.
How are you can you say that the Giants aren't going to win more than 90 games. They won 88 games last season and I'm pretty sure that they can win at least 2 games more than last year. Look at the additions:
1) Mark DeRosa
2) Aubrey Huff
3) All of the Giants pitchers had a monster 2nd half, so that will probably carry into the beggining of the season. I say the finish with about 94 wins.

I guarantee that the Giants will not win 90 + games this year. They will be a strong contender for the "Wild Card" in the West division.
They easily will win more games than Seattle will.

It really means nothing. The '62 Mets had the best spring training record in MLB and won only 40 games during the year (40-120 to be exact).

Yeah, I like the Giants chances this year, they have a solid pitching rotation. Only thing is the lack a real power bat, although Sandoval is good.

haha no. if you look at the boxscores, they're scoring most of their runs against minor leaguers, but against the major league starters they havent really done much.
