Why do people eat their boogers sometimes?

I eat mine because I don't want to flick it. That's nasty and weird. I don't want my boogers to be sitting on the ground or in my car forever!

And because god put our nose and mouth right next to each other for SOME reason.

I like getting the crunch from all the dust that has settled in my nose. I especially like the black boogers. God made dirt and dirt don't hurt.

i see people whom look to be reasonable driving in their cars and eating boogers, its unbelievable that they would do it in the first place, but to do so in public is incredible

It's an unconscious habit left over from one's toddler days when EVERYTHING went into the mouth.
