white spots on teeth?
I am using this crest toothpaste that gets rid if 80% of your stains in 14 days, I'm at day 6 and I've started noticing my teeth are slightly clear near the bottom and I'm starting to see white patches and spots. Im really worried because I have nice teeth and I'm afraid that this toothpaste is weakening my enamel. Please help!

Your teeth contain a bone-like substance under the enamel called dentin. This dentin adds some color to your teeth and is not prevalent in the bottom of your teeth. The bottom (I'm assuming you mean your incisal edges) of your teeth will be a little clear on the bottom because the structure there is not thick compared to the rest of the tooth.
The white spots on your teeth may be signs of decalcification. This can be caused from a build-up of plaque on these areas. Now that the plaque is gone from brushing so well you can see it. If you brush very well and floss daily (basically have great oral hygiene) then you can reverse these spots of decalcification. If not, then these decalcified spots are a great way to get cavities.
The best way to know for sure is to take a visit to your dentist. If this is the case, then they may give you a fluoride treatment to strengthen these spots. Pretty much any cavity can be prevented if it is fluoridated enough before it has the chance to generate.

If the spots hurt or you are feeling sensitivity then they are the first signs of dimineralization of your teeth. Meaning the breakdown of enamel in teeth in that one spot. If they dont hurt then it could also be fluorosis which is a indicator of too much fluoride in your body. Either way you wont be able to remove them from your teeth with just toothpaste a dentist would have to remove them.

I think its just clearing some spots. Wait 14 days and then see, I just think your teeth are starting to whiten.

Daer,
you should stop using that product and wait for some two or three days. And watch what happen in these two days with you teeth
