Matt Cooke a Pussy? and should he be suspended?
Watching Don Cheery and the replays last nite, I'm convinced that Matt Cooke is a pussy and gutless for the hit he put on Matt Savard a few nights ago! Cheery is right when he said he should be suspended but that won't work even if he was! I would LOVE to see Cooke take a cheap shot at Alex Ovechkin....but he doesn't have the balls to do so! A few of my Penguins friends are now worried that Crosby will be the one to get his clock cleaned cause of the dirty cheap shots by Cooke. I have a feeling that someone is going to really hurt Cooke and Crosby here before the season's out....any thoughts?

1. Nick L is a whiny little girl. Cooke intentionally took marc savard out because he is the best on the bruins and at the time the penguins were only wining by one goal. Players can feel it when the other team is about to score and when savard had the puck he had to turn into less of a man and take a cheap shot to the head.
2. Obviously a dirty player would try to stay within the rules by taking a cheap shot with his shoulder. The nhl should have recognized this act.
3. They Bruins should go after EVERYONE on the pengiuns because after all they are fighting for a playoff spot. The people watching and playing are obviously going to feel tension. And if marc savard is watching on the 18th i hope there is retribution ...and lots of it.
Nick L....Sounds like someone has their panties in a bunch..or maybe shoved their tampon to far up their vagg.

I just don't get it. There was such an outcry of hate towards Matt Cooke for the hit that he layed on Marc Savard. People said it was brutal, dirty, and cheap and they absolutely crucified Matt Cooke for it. They wanted his head on a platter. Fans around the world flooded this board with all kinds of concern about Marc Savard and complete hatred for Matt Cooke. So what I don't understand is: for as concerned as these fans were for Savard, the same fans who blasted Cooke for "headhunting" actually want the same thing to happen to Crosby - a guy who had nothing to do with the hit or how Cooke plays - and they see it as some sort of "poetic justice" or "an eye for an eye" for reasons that have NOTHING to do with the Cooke/Savard hit. These are the same fans who expressed such heartfelt compassion for Savard BUT are now saying that they want Crosby and/or Cooke to suffer the same fate. It's absolutely ridiculous how someone can tear apart the actions of a player for a brutal hit and then turn right around and hope that the same thing happen to another guy simply because they don't like him. There are a lot of players in the NHL that I don't like for one reason or another, but I don't wish injury on any of them. These guys all have the right to feed their families and to play the game. Should something happen to Cooke in the future it wouldn't surprise me, but Cooke has already said in interviews that he knows people might be gunning for him and he accepts that. Injuring Crosby, or any other player on the Penguins, for the actions of Matt Cooke is the real "pussy" thing to do. If those players want to go at Matt Cooke then they know where to find him. They don't need to involve anyone else.
Kenisha - if giving a sh*t about the well-being of NHL players, ALL players (not just my home team), and not giving a biased opinion makes me a whiny little girl then I guess I am. You say that Cooke took out Savard because he's the best on the team: How would you know? Did Cooke tell you that? Or are you psychic? Cooke hit Savard because he was playing the puck. You want to support the Bruins - go right ahead - but when you grow up and become an adult you'll realize that two wrongs don't make a right.

Yeah, Cooke has always been a dirty player. It seems like the day of the Goon, is replaced by the cheapshot artist, or instigator/diver. Bring back the 80's up to the mid 90's hockey. It was the most exciting.

Cooke’s hit wasn’t intentional I think but it deserves a sanction respecting the bruins

He should have been suspended. But this is why the league needs fighting. If the league won't do anything about this then the players should be allowed to handle it.

When he hit Savard, he looked like he felt really bad, so maybe he might stop all the hitting crap, buh u never know right??
as for crosby getting hurt now, i dunno about that, he hasn't really done anything,

it was reviewed by the NHL and determined it was a good hit.....do they need to change the rules...YES...but they didn`t yet so get over it....as for Don Cherry...he is a moron....you need to get a life and get over this.....
