How do I start preaching?

I am fully qualified as a Pastor and want to start teaching with youth and young adults. How do I start getting involved? I'm not from a specific church. I need to get somehow involved so that I can also get a salary and not having to worry about money. Where do I start?

Having been into things spiritual and loving for over forty years, and being aware of Angels, they told me long ago *We ask you not to preach, but be ready to teach when interest is shown*..

Let you life and living be your *teaching*..Live as an example of Love, as did Jesus..People ready to see that love within you will be prompted to want to understand more....

God, being universal, expresses Himself in may different ways, dont forget, for every religion has truth within it, and every religion, yes, EVERY religion has been changed and tainted by MEN for their own reasons in the period since the original teachings were brought to Earth by the prophets concerned..

Major changes are now beginning to occur on Earth and to us, so in the coming times, please be open and prepared to see the bigger vision of God which has been hidden from the masses by those long ago who didnt want to lose their power over them..

God is not just *up there* but * in here* also!

Start by finding a church home. You should be going to a specific church. You can go from there.

If you really were qualified as a pastor, then you would know this already. You would also know that pastor is only capitalized when used as a title. The office or job is not capitalized.

You start by going to college and get a BS/BA. Once you graduate, then you go to seminary for a M.Div. Then you look for a job as a pastor, or associate pastor, minister.

How are you fully qualified? Were you accepted into ministry by a local church? If so, you still need to be properly educated for the pastoral role.

Why not check out the ads in Christian Century and Christianity Today for starters?

Also, check out various denominational websites.

The United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ, for example, have sites which are easy to navigate.

Denominationally you may need to check out Polity Manuals as well as make sure you have a good theological 'fit'.

    Hope this helps.

See, this is why Dan Savage's Youth Pastor Watch is a great thing. Think I can jump the gun and just submit this guy's profile?

Matt 10:8 says "...YOU received free, give free."

No need for salary. I am a full time minister and I don't have a salary from preaching.

I understand that the churches in Antarctica have a need for pastors.

watch some preachers on videos and get some ideas from that. and you need to be interviewed by churches and do some guest preaching at different churches to get the feel of it.

If you're going to be a pastor, do it voluntarily. Doing it and getting money just looks wrong.

The very fact that you want to be paid for it disqualifies you Jesus didn't get paid and told his disciples that they received free and should give free
