Yes mam. I use it often. I add it to my conditioner then sit under a hooded dryer with a shower cap. I've noticed that it makes my hair silkier and shinier than if I used my conditioner alone. You should deep condition your hair once a week, if you don't own a hooded dryer just leave the conditoner on for about an hour with a shower cap on. You can put a towel over the shower cap for extra heat. I suggest adding any oil to your conditioner for enhanced results. I use Olive Oil because my shampoo and conditioner is olive oil based.
About a year ago my hair was extremely DRY. My dermatologist suggested I put some olive oil in my hair at night and cover with a shower cap. In the morning your hair should be very soft. It leaves your hair a little wet though so if you don't want wet hair just leave the shower cap on for a couple of hours. Most people use the same method using a leave in conditioner, but since my dermatologist suggested Olive Oil thats what I used. It helped ALOT.
My sister uses it on her scalp in areas that are dry and flaky. Personally, I prefer Tea Tree Oil for my scalp because its anti-fungal.
You can also use Olive Oil for hot oil treatments. Pour some olive oil in a tube that has a beak at the end. Boil some hot water then put the tube in the pot. I let mine get too hot then I let it cool down. That allows the oil to stay warmer longer. I've never used olive oil for my hot oil treaments I use jojoba oil or coconut oil. You can use olive oil alone, but I know a lot of people mix it with essential oils.
Make sure you buy Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

I would recommend using jojoba oil instead. Jojoba oil works on all hair types, and makes hair soft, shiny, and healthy-looking.

It works wonders. I've used it and it works great. unlike grease, it's not heavy and it gives shine without that nasty, stringy, greasy look. It is very light and Very healthy for your hair and it doesnt have a smell to it. It keeps it moisturized and looking lovely (:
