How do you describe to show love?

Question

Me and hubby was discussing our feelings and I stated that I felt to show love you do the little things but it also consists of doing the most inconvenient thing at the most inconvenient time as well as to truly show someone you love them you are willing to go the extra mile. Not just when it's convenient. What is your thoughts on how to show love to the one you love?

I like your answer... sometimes I wish I could say I was always willing to go out of my way to do things for him even when they're inconvenient without complaint, but that happens only about 50% of the time, if I'm being honest.  Beyond that, I like to show love by giving out lots of compliments, giving massages and hugs, and cooking his favorite meals (I know, how 1950's, I just happen to love cooking).  Oh, and blowjobs!  Yesss.

For everyone it is different.  We each have our own love languages.  To be successful in your relationship you need to speak the others love language.  He will need to learn to show you love in your love language and you will need to learn to show love in his love language.  A good book my wife and I read was "And they were not afraid".  I have included a link below to the authors site.  FYI, my wife and I have completely different love languages but we are slowly becoming fluent in both.
