why won't video files upload to my computer (cannon digital camera)?

i filmed about 25 30-second-long videos using my cannon powershot sd1200 lil digital camera and only half of them will upload from the memory card. why are only specific ones working?

    Each of your video files will be paired up with a THM files. The THM files are thumbnail files. Those files also contain exif (http://www.exif.org)/ information (such as when the video was made, with what kind of camera an so on). Many programs make use of the exif information in order to catalog images, for example by date.
