Is it "Dear All" or "Dear Everybody"?

When you have an email that is meant for more than 5 recipients and you cannot address everyone, do you begin the mail with 'Dear All' or 'Dear Everybody'? Or is there another better way? Thanks!

There is something about receiving an email addressed to a bunch of people that I find annoying.

There is a better way. Put all the names in the BCC (Blind carbon copy) line, none of the recipients will see any name but his/her own. Then just write as if you're writing to only one person.

This way each person feels you're speaking just to him/her, yet you don't have to write 5 emails.

    Dear Everyone

I usually say, "Dear Friends" and that should cover it. Sometimes if some of the recipients are members of my family, I will say, "Dear Friends and Family"

Sender's choice. Manners have gone by the wayside on the internet. If one really cared, one would send them each a letter.
