Could I have miscarried and be pregnant again without knowing ?
I tested postive at six weeks pregnant with a pregnanct test and blood test. My Doctor gave me a due date of October 1st 2010 which would make me just under 11 weeks pregnant. I had spotting this past weekend which started as brown discharge then turned into light bleeding..no clots..no ramping etc. The ER doctor said my cervix was closed and not to worry. But it continued throughout the weekend. They bumped my Ultrasound up from the 24th of march to today and the results showed that I was indeed pregnant but that I was no where near as far as I we thought I was. Is it possible that I miscarried and got pregnant again without knowing or is it possible I miscarried a twin? Please help! My ultrasound technician couldn't tell me much and my doctors office is closed till wednesday!!
The Ultrasound technician wouldn't tell me anything ..not even how far I was measuring right now. He told me if i were 11 weeks pregnant they would see arms and legs etc.. it was still a sac..and looked nothing like the beginning stages of a baby.

It's possible but miscarriages have quite heavy bleeding and cramping.
It's common for you to have one due date based on your period calculation and another due date when you get your ultrasound. The ultrasound bases on the growth of the baby. It's a little more accurate than the estimated one. You can test positive as early as 3.5 - 4 weeks so you may not have been 6 weeks when you actually got the positive test. Plus if you ovulated at a different time than average then your due date could be off by 2 or 3 weeks based on that alone.
I really doubt you miscarried, you would've been more aware of it. Plus your cervix would've been open at the ER.

First of all...Congratulations!!,Pregnancy is a testing time for one reason or another lol!.
I think this may be your original pregnancy and the spotting/bleeding may have been implantation bleeding as opposed to a loss.
If your cervix was closed then it is highly unlikely that you miscarried,Maybe just a mix up??
Good luck with everything anyway!! xx

Can ensue. occurred to me. Early miscarriages ensue for a reason ; incredible feotus, implanation did not ensue dazzling etc. miscarriages could be like popular sessions and cramping or hideiously painful. relies upon on the gestation and everybodys diverse. good success with this one!

It's possible. I've known people who've had both those experiences.
Good luck and congratulations!
