Do glass dent buffers really work on cues?

    It might work on a really, really small ding, but I was never really satisfied with one. Basically, you rub it back and forth until it stops "clicking".

    It's better to use steam to get the dents out of the shaft. Or, wet a paper towel and wrap it around the shaft (over the dent) and hold it in place with rubber bands and let it sit overnight. That should swell the wood and make the dent smaller.
