Can I use a sit n' stand stroller to put a baby carseat on?

My daughter is gonna be 2 years and 2 months old when we have another one. I would like to use a double stroller, but where my toddler can sit, and then where I can put my newborn on -in her carseat. I was looking at the Baby Trend Single Sit N Stand LX Stroller http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId...

Would it be possible to somehow attach the carseat to the part where a toddler is suppose to stand?

I would just get a double stroller (like the one made by graco) and use the infant seat adapter on one of the seats. That way you can put the car seat right on it and your daughter can sit as well. I would use a stroller made for this though and not attach the car seat where it isn't suppose to be as it could fall and the baby could get hurt.

    Stroller Stand Attachment

  • I'd keep the carseat part where it's made to be put (in the front part). If you'd like to have your older child sit I recommend a double stroller.

No- not unless you want it to be VERY unsafe!

As to your toddler being able to sit- I can tell you haven't seen this stroller in person have you? There is a seat platform in the toddler part that they can sit on! On some models you can actually get a separate seat with a back that is removable for when your child wants to stand- here is a page with pictures of one in use with all the different configurations.

Looking at the product details, I would have to say NO. The car seat attachment is in the front only

sounds like a bad idea to me, if you want to use your carseat get a travel system.
