what is the answer to this algebra equation?

y= -x^2+6x+2

i'm having a lot of trouble with it plz help !

sorry I do mean find the roots plz ahaha but I don't get the first answer

    What do you mean by "what is the answer". I'll assume you mean 'find the roots'.

    First factor it, but in this case, it's not going to factor; so use the quadratic formula:

    (-6+/-sqrt(36+8)/-2)

    -6+/-sqrt(44)/-2

    (-6+/-2(sqrt(11)/-2

    x=(3-sqrt(11)), (3+2sqrt(11))
