PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I don't wanna sound flat... I WANNA BE A SINGER!?

EVEYBODY'S SAYING I sound flat. Maybe it's something wrong with me just in videos or it's always like that? It seems to me that I'm singing in tune and they're saying I sound flat. I sometimes play synthesizer and sing at the same time and I can say I match the notes pretty well. Is something wrong with me or those guys? I may miss a note or 2 in videos but that's mostly because of some kinda fear or timidity, but when I'm alone I sound better. Please be honest, no haters or mean people!!! Here's my Youtube www.youtube.com/user/KelavaKristina

it goes a bit flat when you reach high or low notes, it might need some vocal lessons or professional editing..

Your voice is flat. They were right. How to not sound flat? Lessons, practice. You will/should be able to tell when you do not sound flat. Get really into the music and sing freely. You have a nice voice, but yes, flat. And saying no mean people or haters...in other words you do not want criticism? Well there is always going to be someone 'mean'. Sometimes being rude will give you a push to show them wrong.

I don't think you sound flat. If anything, slightly sharp. Your voice isn't bad though. The most important thing is to use lots of air and breath support to sing out. DON'T push the sound out through your throat, as this can damage your voice (even though lots of pop start sing like that, it is bad). Also, be confident! If you want to be a singer, then prove it and sing out! : )

And as far as voice lessons go, they are not necessary, but if you really want them, talk to your parents. I never took voice lessons until I was in college, so it can be done!

When you hit notes that are slightly higher than the rest of the song, you voice does go flat. when you sing highish notes aim high

You have a good voice but you need lessons.

BTW, I know this has nothing to do with anything, but your YouTube page looks awful with that background. You sure are pretty, that's not my complaint, it just makes it hard to read anything on your page.
