Boyfriend wants to be my dance partner. Advice?
I've been dancing since I was a kid on and off. My last dance partner failed because he stopped showing up to class and would blow me off for no reason what so ever.
So my boyfriend of 10 months now (really steady relationship...no turbulance..) said that he would be my dance partner if I want to do that.
He doesn't have any official dance experience but I think he'd learn really quickly.
this is ballroom btw..
so should I go for it and try it out? I just don't want to end up either ruining our relationship or us breaking up and me once again losing my dance partner..
what do you think?
go for it or not??
no no I apreciate all opinions!!

i think you should look at it as an opportunity to grow more in your relationship.
but you have to go into it with an open mind and not expect him to get everything right away.
if he is really commited then yea it would be a good idea, but if he's not then i would suggest finding someone else.

Encourage him to learn to dance but not as your partner. Dance with him socially and help him, but that's all.
Just imagine what will happen if you still really like him but his dancing is not up to scratch - or you break up with him and lose your dance partner as well.

Don't do it, it will cause conflict. But your probably not going to listen. So have fun.
