Factor out the GCF of a from 2a^(2)+a.
a(2a+1)
8x^(3)y^(2)-4xy^(3)
Factor out the GCF of 4xy^(2) from each term in the polynomial.
4xy^(2)(2x^(2))+4xy^(2)(-y)
