What about a THUMP subwoofer box? Any input appreciated.?

I have a subwoofer box which has been sitting in my room for no less than 5 or 6 years. I've been "saving" it for when I got my license. I know nothing of car audio, and I'd appreciate some help.

Above is the closest thing I can find to what mine is, though mine is red instead of blue. It does have "THUMP" printed on the speakers, and, judging by the logo, it's pretty dated. The back of each speaker reads "THUMP T100" and "150 watts."

I'm also thinking about buying an amp, but I'm on a very small budget.

Anyone care to translate for the car audio illiterate? Thanks in advance.
