how do i convince my parents to get me a cell phone?

You need to give real reasons for needing one. Bargain. Say you'll do things in return for getting a phone. Use the sob story. If you're daddy's little princess (like my sister), then a couple of tears and begging should help your cause. Try explaining that if you can keep in contact with your friends, you'll be happier. I know these all sound like cliches, but they're the only ways that will help your cause. I didn't get a phone till I was sixteen, so I can understand. It's h3ll without one, I know. Just give reasonable explanations, instead of situational problems. Good luck.

Offer things like cleaning the house, getting good grades, etc etc. Offer situations where you would need a cell phone such as being in the middle of no where. Also show them you can be responsible. It also depends on how old you are too
